What a nice surprise! Billie called me around 1130 today, since she was in the car, just outside of Erie. I knew she was coming thru sometime this weekend, but she wasnt sure when and if they would have time to stop. So anyway, I met her at the mall, instead of trying to give her directions over the phone right then. It was so nice to see her again. She moved to Illinois at the end of the summer, so I never know when I'll see her.
Anyway - once again, I have to miss the end of the Sabres game... stupid movie times haha And its the Tampa Bay game!!! oh well... :OP

(no, not hockey, cuz that is an actually obsession... that is just baaaaad lol) my friends and i love ER... we talk about it like its real.... we know the ppl and they are not actors... haha it's great... gotta love the fantasy world :O) just thought i'd share that

well, I might as well have shot myself in the foot this week.... I did nothing but hurt my grade... didnt quite kill it, just hurt it really bad :OP WTF - so I guess I REALLY need to do some serious work... I so know this shit... I just need to prepare better I guess... I have to stay focused for the next 3 friggin weeks!!! BLAH whatever... (I know, I am in school... we have exams...) Anyway, so if you dont see/hear from my very often, you'll know why... hahaha...

Well... the other day they had an Anthrax scare at Mercyhurst (a college really close to Gannon). I'm sure it's just a scare, as is the FBI, but the tests should be back soon... here's some of what the Erie paper had to say...
"The most likely scenario is we will be investigating a hoax anthrax letter," Bob Rudge of the Erie FBI office said Wednesday.
"There is a very remote chance this is an actual anthrax scenario."
Rudge said he is hopeful he'll receive by today the results of testing on a white powder that poured from a letter opened in the school's admissions office about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. A note accompanying the letter, which had a postmark from Egypt, stated that the powder was anthrax and that the recipient had been exposed to it, Rudge said.
The FBI confiscated the letter Tuesday and transported it to the FBI regional headquarters in Pittsburgh. It was then taken to the state Department of Health lab outside Philadelphia, where it underwent testing Wednesday, Rudge said.
So anyway, obviously that's what has been on the news and stuff lately. Just so you guys know, if I get sick, thats why! LOL In case your wondering why the hell they would target Erie, of all places... here is the theory...
"If anything, it may be the fact that I'm one of the talking heads who speaks out against (terrorist groups)," said Robert J. Heibel, former deputy chief of the FBI's counter-terrorism team who now directs the Research Intelligence Analyst Program at Mercyhurst.
Heibel was not on campus Tuesday morning when an envelope, with a postmark from Egypt, was opened in the admissions office on white powder poured out. A note inside claimed the substance was anthrax, which forced the closing of the building and the testing of hundreds of students and employees for possible exposure.
Mary Daly, senior assistant to Mercyhurst College President William P. Garvey, said Wednesday the college has never been asked to accept any student from Egypt. It also never denied admission to any student from Egypt, she said.
"So what could possibly distinguish Mercyhurst for something like this? The Research Analyst Intelligence Program, because we're the only college in the country with that," Daly said. "It's the only thing I can possibly think of, but I really doubt this happened because of it."
Heibel said he doesn't know if the program brought the mysterious letter to Mercyhurst Tuesday. If anything, he said, he might be a target because he has spoken nationally; on television and to newspapers, among other venues; as an expert on terrorism.

ok... procrastinating some more... going to the Halloween party... guess what I'm going as... I came up with this idea while trying to think about what I have just lying around... so I see my jersey! haha I'm going as a hockey player (I guess Cory, since his name is on the back lol) I'm giving myself a black eye and stuff too.. haha anyway, should be interesting... maybe I can finish my role of film....

What is with all my profs changing test dates?!?! grrr... I know we had a bunch scheduled for 1 week (4) but it really wasnt all that bad.. i mean i would complain and all, but thats what the end of the semester is going to be like! deal people! Some ppl complained to my pharm prof and got him to move that test. I didnt see a problem with that one - it was on advising day... all day free to study! (like i would really study before that anyway LOL) but that got moved, so whatever. Then this morning my Lab Diagnosis prof changes that test... so now the "hell week" we had scheduled got changed to "a bad 2 1/2 weeks"! lol nothing like prolonging the pain... haha. At least then we have Thanksgiving break....
Anyway, I still have an exam tomorrow, which I should be studying for right now. (yeah, I'll get right on that lol) Tonight I should go to the APB halloween party (I'm so involved this year! I'm supposed to support my fellow board members activities) so that means I have to miss the game again... someone should have consulted the schedules before they made these plans! HAHA
current mood: tired, will prolly take a nap before I try studying some more....

My ring broke today :O( I lost one of the little sapphires out of the setting... It was nothing really special looking, but I liked it - my Mom gave it to me for my 17th birthday (actually, this one was the replacement after I lost the original at the lake LOL). oh well....

Last night was the Homecoming dance... woo hoo... It was fun actually, and everyone said my impromptu outfit worked, so thats good.. haha I spent the afternoon at Cory's doing hair stuff... she did Erin's, Jen's and mine and I did hers lol She did such a good job on everyones... mine was up pretty high, but it was nice - she did an upsidedown braid thing in the back with the rest curled on top... anyway (like you guys care haha)... I went to dinner with Julie and JT, Tiffany and Mike, Julie's friend Jen and her date, and JT's x-roommate Matt. Then we took the shuttle bus to the dance, so no one had to worry about drinking and then driving back (i dont think any of us really had that much tho, I didnt have anything there) Anyway - The decorations looked really good, but 2 of the balloon arches fell :O( The "tree" stayed up nicely tho. It was nice to go out and see everyone out of class and having fun... someday I'll get pics up (if I ever finish the role lol). My friend Jen's sorority's float won. Then I came home and went to bed! haha It was so nice to have that extra hour of sleep too!
Today I just hung around the apt., not doing too much. I really should get going on some work, but you know me... This girl IMed me about my Cory site, and said it was really good and I should update it... so maybe someday I'll get on that, too... It's hard with him on another team tho....
current mood: shower time... should do some work after that...
