well... the drive to Geneseo wasnt too bad, just windy. Trice and I talked alot, so it wasnt so boring either! So, we met up with Sara and Danielle and left for RIT... in a freaky white-out blizzard thing that lasted like 5 min. and then was sunny! haha oh well...
We hung out at Eric's for a while, watching the various music channels, including the top 40 hair bands!! yaay! haha We had dinner at Jack Astor's and of course the waiter was crazy (what other kind of person would work there? haha) Then we all ended up going to see Eric & Mary's prof. play at a blues club/resturant place. It was pretty cool.
This morning, Eric woke me up around 715, and Trice and I left some time later. We got her back in time for work, so that was good. Since i had nothing to do then, I took a very looooong nap (longer than I planned, but I always do! lol) Woke up and watched the NHL All Star game. It actually wasnt the high-scring blowout it usually is... only 8-5 with the World team winning. The 3rd period was pretty good, the World came back and won. Khabibulin was great, getting a shutout for his period! (he's pretty good! lol) Too bad I missed the stuff last night... oh well... we saw highlights on NHL2Night later. Tim made an amazing play with the puck through his skates... wonderful... (but his team lost :OP)
Well, I still havent heard anything from Kristin... whatever... (hope she's ok tho...)
Oh, and thanks to Trice, who told me that audiogalaxy isnt blocked here, I can dl stuff again! haha

British... everybody likes those Brits. You compare with U2 and other famous bands. You're music is very original and different from anything heard on the radio normally. Songs are laid back and relaxed, and you frequently make some pretty weird, er um, original music videos

ok... maybe now i can post... lol
So... today was the big day... actually in the hospital, talking to a real, live patient!! AHHH I was a little nervous... lol My assigned patient was ummm, slightly incoherant... lol I mean, she didnt even acknowledge my presence in the room... oh well. So I left the room and my prof. told me to just team up with Tim across the hall. I was kinda relieved, cuz then I had someone there for support and to ask questions too, and stuff. Plus, he had already introduced himself, so that was over. Well... this lady was really nice and cooperative! yaaay! Such a relief for the 1st patient to be so good. She was talkative, but not too much that we couldnt get info. She was so sweet haha. And she doesnt have a deadly disease at the moment, so it wasnt sad or anything, like, "well, nice meeting you, your gonna die" or anything... (not to be morbid or anything, but if she had a bad MI or something... you know what I mean haha)...
So at least the 1st time is over... but next week we have to do more like a physical exam, so thats a whole different thing... that will be way scarier! hahaha Thats actually touching patients, not just talking to them... blah... (yeah, cuz i remember how to do that lol I just memorized the sheets, and forgot them right after lol)
So, today actually turned out good, even though it was loooong... Anyway, hope the weather is ok tomorrow.... :O)

well... i was supposed to have dinner with Kristin tonight. She made food on Monday, and I made Chicken Caccitore (cant spell it lol) tonight. Well, I guess I should have confirmed like 15762349 times cuz I think she forgot! I called her around 530 to see if she was still coming over, but she wasnt home... so I waited... and waited... blah... finally, Julie came home and she ate the damn chicken with me. So there.... now its 8 and I still havent heard from Kristin....

well, I did eventually get to sleep... haha Then, I spent all day bumming around...
I just wanted to mention, I love Mighty Ducks haha (the movie, not the team) It's on TV right now... I realize I probably just like it cuz its hockey, but... its just fun haha. The team made the playoffs and they went to the "real rink" after a Minnesota NorthStars practice (whoa... NorthStars!! hehehe) and Mike Modano (:OP) and some other player talked to "Gordon"... it was pretty funny...
I wish I had bought this movie at Blockbuster for $5 this summer when I saw it... blah

ahhhh... going to kill ppl.... the music from the apt. above me should not sound like it is in my living room... and I know no one in here would play that hip-hop/rap CRAP they are blasting... ok, ok, Saturday night and all, but really, could we be a little considerate...
grrrr... I dont play my own music as loud as I can hear theirs.... therefore cant even drowned it out, no way i could sleep like that...
I just walked thru the apt. the noise can be heard everywhere... (no wonder I'm the only loser in the apt trying to sleep...)

Just saw "i am sam".... good movie. My opinions arent usually worth much, I'm sooo not a critic, but i liked it anyway. (I like most movies, I'm just a fan haha) I cried, of course. It was strange, but in a good way i guess. Very cute.
Current mood: "movie theater" headache, tired, but cant go to sleep cuz of my obnoxious neighbors and their damn bass... (i know, Its Sat night... :OP) Not sure what they do differently now, but the sound is coming from above and the alley next to me... (maybe they opened the window LOL) either way, its sooo annoying....
