well.... I'm going home for the weekend.... It's my Mom's birthday, and just seems like a good time to visit.
Yesterday went ok at the hospital. We had to have partners, because there werent enough patients that we could bug, so that helped a lot (for me anyway). My patient was funny... 79 years old and her boyfriend brought her to the Dr.s (hehe good for her) Very cooperative and asked us questions too. So far, my exams have been pretty non-traumatic (knock on wood lol).
My Pharm exam on the other hand... that was difficult. I really need to get motivated this semester... :OP
So, hopefully I can get some stuff done tonight, since I'll probably have the house to myself! lol (nice visit, eh?) My Mom is chaperoning (i cant spell) a dance at school so she wont be home, and Amy & Nathan are never home, so.... lol But - I'll get to watch the game!! (now you see why im driving up today LOL jk).

I like Wednesdays... I only have 1 class lol But now I have too much time, and i'm sure i will just waste it!
I looked at some apartments with Julie after class (she will be here for PT school next year). It was so fun... I cant wait to have my own place! hehe The 1st ones we saw were ok, very boring tho and pretty small. The next building was better. We both like the older buildings with fun little touches, and this one had a fireplace and a lot of storage. (the current tenant is a slob tho, hard to see haha) The last building was the best. It was old too, and had sort of a round room (a turit? lol) off the living room... very cool (the girl there now uses it for a drug party room... lol). The kitchen was a good size too and its on the top floor of the building, so it has slanty ceilings (not all over, but at the sides). The bedroom had built in shelves at one part and a small cabinet under the window... just lot of cute little things... She wants that one, and I really hope she gets it! I already have permission to stay there when I have to come back to Gannon for testing every 6 weeks! haha
Now, I have to study for Pharm and prepare for our hospital trip tomorrow... i'm scared about this one, I actually have to touch the person, not just talk to them! haha If I was in the hospital I dont think I would want someone poking and proding me unnecessarily... I just hope I get another nice patient.
Current mood: good... apt hunting was fun (as long as its not for me LOL)

well... 1st test of the semester is over... it was ok.. I defiantely should have studied more, haha (that was obvious before the test too tho) But I dont think I failed horribly or anything... we shall see tho... They should be posted when I go to Pharm... (blah)

ok.. trying not to take a nap... but my bed is calling me.... ahhh... I really should be studying, I have a test tomorrow and I havent looked at the notes yet! Plus the 2 "self-study" chapters I didnt do. slacker, i know.... i have no motivation. blah. just need to get out of here already. be done... but then i'd have to work... :OP blah (unless i had my dream job... hahaha)
Even the weather is against me studying... It actually snowed here last night (first sign of white around here since we got back from break haha) and its cold and windy and so i probably wont got to the library or anything... lol yay for procrastination! I'm so bad this semester. I hope I retained information while sitting in class, so studying will be ok... LOL

Guess who just called me.... Kristin. She forgot about dinner last wednesday, and forgot about the messages I left her. She was sick though, so she probably heard them in a daze. whatever... But, as I can NEVER stay mad at people (i really gotta work on that lol), I'll probably see her later after I show the movie. Its a good thing I just let most everything roll off my back or whatever... Kristin and i wouldnt have been friends past 1st semester freshman year! ooo, thats pretty bad... Thank-god my other friends are so wonderful! :O)
Well, time to finish the damn write-up I've been working on alllll day (and got no where) and watch the superbowl (yeah, like I'll be able to pay attention to either one haha0
