I happened to see Anne Marie today (sorry Danielle, thats her name, but not THAT one haha The one who went to school with Tim Connolly!) and I asked her if she happened to have any yearbooks around. She knew immediately what I wanted (pics of Tim!) and said she didnt have them up here but she is going to look for them at home over Easter!! LOL She only knows for sure where her middle school ones are, but hes definately in them! lmao OH and she said he had curly hair and started laffing, and I was like, yeah he had curly hair when he played in Erie too. So she laffed some more. I just thought she was laffing cuz it looked funny, all wild and crazy curly, but she said that in middle school anyway, it was so curly because he had a PERM!!! LMAO (and I dont think its so curly anymore, kinda wavy and stuff, so it guess it could be true.... ROFL)
Anyway - the trade deadline is over and none of my boys had to leave! We just got a center from Atlanta - Bob Corkum is back (not that I really remember him much from before, but hes back anyway lol)
And my NHL quote for today is a good one: "in 1981 The Buffalo Sabres established the long-standing NHL record for most goals in a period, with nine in a 14-4 rout of the Toronto Maple Leafs." :O) haha
oh yeah, and I took my Pharmacology test... :OP THHHHHHHHH blah I totally messed up the matching. I hate matching. His are impossible anyway. so I dunno how bad I did, I just hope I didnt actually fail...
But yaaaaay I dont have class tomorrow because its "advising day" haha and I dont have to see my advisor, so I get to bum around all day... (thats what I do anyway haha)
Current Mood: tired, cant wait to sleep in tomorrow :O)
Todays Topics: hormones, syncope, and the test
Listening to: Sabres vs. Ottawa game :O) GO SABRES

oh.. good news about my thesis research project thing!! Jen asked one of our professors to mentor us (and she agreed) so we have major help and direction, not to mention a topic!! wooo hoooooo And we started already! hehe We brainstormed a thesis statement and planned when we are going to go do the actual research (aka looking through a huge amount of charts HAHA) I am soo glad! Plus - we might be able to get a grant to pay for stuff and go to the national AAPA conference to present next year in New Orleans!! (too bad its not the same time as Sara's haha but still yaaaaay!)
So even tho it's mammogram research (not my favorite topic) its going to be great with the help and everything! And all the work we will do might actually help people! haha (amazing as it may seem haha) The project that we are getting the info from was shut down due to lack of funds, but if we prove that it helped and was worthwhile, it may help get it back (at least try, it might help someone somewhere somehow anyway haha) My prof is even talking to someone from NY state about it! haha
So anyway, one less thing I have to worry about :O)
Current mood: yaaay presentation is over... yaaaay we have a plan... i just need to study pharm sometime before 6 tomorrow haha
Todays Topics: pediatric infections part 2, presentations
:O)

well... 1 thing left to go and I'm free until Easter (a week anyway haha) My presntation was over in 8 minutes.... I think I set a record! haha we have 15 min to do it, but almost everyone goes over or close at least haha. I hate public speaking, so I didnt ask any BS questions, just got to the point and diagnosed him haha. I did ok, I think - she bugged me a little about the treatment, but i think thats just cuz I was done so fast haha... whatever - its over!

This weekend has been sooo long... I didnt do much after class on Fri, took a nap as usual haha. Then I went out to dinner with Cory and to see "Kate and Leopold" at the $1 theater, since she hadnt seen it yet. We also stopped in to see John Rush, another quality APB event haha. He basically plays guitar and sings his own karaoke - he covers a bunch of songs (human jukebox thing haha) and has some of his own stuff.
Saturday I worked on my presentation... boring. It took me all afternoon, I totally couldnt concentrate. It sucks, but its all I can do haha... I am soooo bad at oral presentations anyway. :OP thhhhhhh
Sat. night I went to Erin's for dinner... we had green pesto! haha very festive. We also made "sour leprechans". Then I went to a bar with Jen and her sister, met up with a bunch of ppl there. Lots of fun, too much to drink... haha good way to celebrate St. Pattys Day tho :O)
Today (or Sunday rather haha) went by way too fast! I cleaned a little (procrastination) and went shopping. I made 80 tickets for the GUSPAS murder mystery dinner, but since I had to make them all fancy, like mini wedding invitations, it took me 2 1/2 hours to print and cut them out grrrrrrr! Then I had to finish up my presentation stuff (i still dont feel ready, but i dont know what else to do, so oh well...) and type my lab writeup, since i was late last week... blah. Everything always comes at once, probably because I procrastinate so much, but whatever haha.
Anyway, time for bed now...
Current mood: tired, hate writing papers :OP (I really feel bad for Carolyn, I shouldnt complain, she has it a lot worse)
Listening to: a really badly dubbed version of True Lies on TV LOL they just took the sound out when they swear
