not doing much today either... yeah my life is boring :O) oh well...
Went to Target and shopped for awhile, got pictures developed finally! So there are some new ones up on the picture page, mostly graduation and senior stuff... oh, and Jack Astors haha
Did my powerpoint last night, but I think its a bit long, so I have to cut some slides out... sometime (presentation isnt until Wed.) Spent my Friday night watching tv and finishing my cross-stitch thing for my mom... fun fun. Will probably do something equally exciting tonite! hah

Last night I installed MS office so I can do my powerpoint presentation here, instead of trying to find a computer on campus that has it and is open (its crazy, nothing is open during the summer, so I cant get anything done... oh well) So yeah... that just messed up everything on my computer! grrrrr But i think i fixed the little MSN problem i was having... Thanks for the help Eric, but it was still there after I shut down... but never fear, I fixed it! haha So now it's back to "normal" - at least I can use the internet that i am already connected to!!
So, no class today... I'm just bumming around. I should work on my presentation, since thats what caused all the trouble last night haha I was looking at crap online tho... I want a Sabres Power Play pack.. but no one will go with me hahaha (cuz I should be wasting that much money HAHA) But everyone needs to go to more Sabres games this year!! (preferrably in the 1st part of the season, since I'll be home then!! hehe)
And the golf tournament/auction for cancer research is coming up in July... It's such a great thing, too bad I'm poor haha Some day I'll have money and be able to buy a Rhett Warrener package (bottom of page) LOL or any of the other cool prizes... I cant even afford to get in the door right now... but it really is a good cause....

Went to the Plymouth last night... Julie and I went with Tim and Cory, since Cory was in town. It was fun, we had like 4 drinks.. Tim introduced me to a "maduri sour" (i dont know how to spell it, but it was really good!! hehe) But then Tim was drunk (more so than everyone else, he had more beer) and when the boys walked us home, he stayed for an hour... messing around in the apt... he went thru Julie's makeup and stuff.. he was on my computer, talking to people (sorry for the confusion Carolyn haha) He can be such a pain... but he did buy all the drinks! haha
So this morning we had our last class.... wow.... we did more ethics stuff, blah, blah, blah, and talked about the handbook and roation stuff some more. Only 1 week left! Next week we have a practice boards exam, our oral presentations, and the final...
After class, Julie and I went to the beach :O) I remembered to put sunscreen on my face, so that was good, but i still got a weird tan.. haha mostly on my lower arms, but not the top haha, and on my thighs, but not my calf lol. oh well... its something anyway. so I'm a little pink, but I'm not really burned. so its all good... hehe
current mood: tired, nap at the beach wasnt enough ahah

This morning was boring... another chapter of Ethics... then I reviewed catheters, injections, IVs and NG tubes. We had a test on those "skills" this afternoon.. nothing big, we just had to do them and they told us if we passed or failed, no problem....
Also, my prof got a call today about the AAPA grant that we applied for.... we got partial funding!! WOO HOOO They wont pay for us to go to New Orleans (damn haha) but they will cover our poster, fliers and presentation stuff... hehe And, we'll be named in the newsletters and everything... and we're definately presenting at the conference! So, we'll probably just try to get GUSPAS to sponsor our trip (since they do that hehe) and stuff... lovely!! But we are totally going!! haha

yeah.. I actually went out tonight! Some of us went to see Monster's Inc. at the cheep theater... Tuseday is $.50 night! haha Its such a cute movie! hehe Too bad we hadnt thought of this the rest of the summer... we only have 1 week left! haha But we might see Murder by Numbers next week... for $.50 i think i can watch it again.. hehe

we got our Rotation Handbooks this morning... its pretty thick... too much stuff to do! Just another reminder that I only have 12 days left!! blah.. scary!
Jen and I also went to Westfield once again to go thru more files... boring, but I think we're done... does anyone know what a good % is to make up a random sampling?? We have 33% and that sounds good to us... haha
Now I just need to go grocery shopping sometime... fun fun

ooo forgot to mention... i had a really vivid dream last night that I lost a tooth... it was weird. It just came loose and fell out... I dont know where we were, but my prof was there, and she shoved it back in the hole... gross... but it came out again... I was mad cuz it wouldnt stay in and I was going to have to get a fake tooth.. LOL Wonder what losing teeth in a dream means......

it was a nice trip home this weekend... Friday I went to dinner with Sara, Eric, Amanda, Danielle, Carolyn & Kurt... then we hung out for awhile and finally decided to out...just a warning, be careful with Long Islands at Buffalo Wild Wings... they dont use a mix! hehe that are really strong! After I was already pretty buzzed, Sara reminded me that my car was at her house... ooops! So i had to pick it up the next day. Of course, then everyone knew that I couldnt drive home, so they had to tease me about that... haha oh well, it was fun anyway!
Saturday we just bumed around, looking at the thrift stores and cd shops... i got U2 - achtung baby, but no NIN that I was looking for... but I'm sure my "music pimp" Sara will find me something! hehe After dinner, my Mom, Amy and I went to the movies! (its so nice that we can just do stuff haha) We saw The Sum of all Fears It was pretty good... very suspenseful... the nuclear explosion was good... kinda scary what the government knows tho...
Sunday my grandparents came over for dinner, it being Father's Day and all... so I didnt end up leaving the house until after 8:00.
Today we only had class in the morning, so of course I took a nap when I got back. haha Then I just hung around the apt.... pretty boring.
