AHHH I LOVE HOCKEY!! hehe Since Sara had to work on a Monday, I woke my brother up and we went to the Sabres open practice anyway! :O) 2/3 of the team were scrimaging, while the rest of the guys were working out I suppose... Red team vs. White team today, with Black team MIA hehe... White team kicked ass... Rhett is on Black team, so he wasnt playing :O( but he was there 'cuz he came out and watched for a bit... so did Max (who obviously cant play with his head injury - it looked like it was bad, but much better now...) Taylor, Marty, Eric Boulton, & Hendrik Talender... maybe some others...
Anyway, we sat right by the tunnel, and people were getting autographs & stuff... I'm such a moron, I didnt even think to bring anything! haha This one kid had folders of stuff to sign... he had drawings of players and cards... hehe someone "worse" than me! And there were some "teeny-boppers" who were right behind the bench, squealing if the guys looked back at them... (I think they should have been in school, but whatever! haha) Yeah, I know I'm bad, but I dont squeal when I actually see them... I just think about it, but keep it in so I dont make a complete fool of myself!! haha (I know I squeal at the TV, but thats different!! haha) Anyway - I did somehow manage to say "Rhett" loud enough to get his attention before he walked thru the tunnel again & got him to sign some piece of paper they gave us with the rosters on it... lol :O)
Let's see.. what else... haha There was a semi-fight and of course Robbie Ray was in the middle hehe When Marty came out if the tunnel he was wearing a yellow hawaii t-shirt and black spandex shorts!! hehe He didnt even have shoes on! lol and his hair was sticking up funny! it was pretty cute... I got a pic for Danielle :O) but you cant see his shorts... and it was extra funny cuz in the pic he was picking a wedgie!!! haha (but you cant really tell, since you cant see the shorts! haha)
So yeah... I love hockey season... hehe... and Sara... there is another open practice on Wednesday!!! lol :O)
