WOOO HOOOO I'm done with Pediatrics! haha I took my exam Wed. and passed, so I am done until I start surgery Jan. 6th. I really need a break too... I am getting pretty burned out... I didnt care too much about this last rotation, so I am just glad I did that well on it.
I did have an interesting time the night before my exam tho... my friend Julie wasnt in Erie anymore as her finals were done by then, so I couldnt crash at her place. I ended up just picking the 1st hotel I came to at the exit - it was expensive, but i didnt feel like going to the next one, I just needed to study and whatever. So I get in my room, get my pjs on (as always), and get my books & notes out. I turn the TV on, but there is a big line across the screen! Since I payed so much, I was not about to put up with that (even tho I was studying & just needed the background noise) So I called and they sent someone up... after like 20 min of playing with the settings (and asking me out for drinks?!?!) he couldnt fix it. So he went to the desk and they gave me another room... the jacuzzi suite across the hall!!!! YEAH!! So I studied with the TV on and then went in the jacuzzi. Oh, the bed was giagantic too... so I had a king size bed all to myself (way too much, since I'm used to a twin!! hehe I couldnt reach the sides!! lol) So that was actually a nice way to relax before the test.... haha
Lets see... what else has been going on... Oh... the Misfits cancelled on us! super last minute too (or at least for us) We were in line for an hour and 1/2 before someone else in line called around and found out they cancelled... but we still had to wait to see what we should do with our tix... eventually, we got into the continental, so we could warm up anyway. They let us in, no cover, so that was alright. The openers were still gonna play, so since we were there.... unfortunately tho, we had to sit thru the Voodoo Dollies again... AGGHHHHH i wanted to scream.... but my brother got to hear the "i'm on the rag" song (he wants to cover it... LOL) Then the purrs came on... they werent that bad... At least the singer could actually sing....and they covered a Misfits song, so that got them some points, lol By then, my brothers friend wanted to leave, so we didnt see the Bloody Hollies... whatever. We did end up meeting a cool couple, and the guy wants to join Children of the Damned (they do need a drummer) haha We'll see...
