ok yeah - i havent posted anything in awhile... not entirely my fault tho. For some reason, my internet went out for a few weeks, until Eric came around and fixed it anyway hehe (what will we do with him so far away...)
So basically, nothing too exciting to report here - classes are blah... nothing bad, but not exactly thrilling either. The heaping piles of papers to write are alright as long as I take them 1 at a time. We have a lot of group projects too... our profs dont want to teach, so they give us chapters to present (to give us experience... lol)
Lets see... ooo the BCT fundraiser was great. all the details were on Sara's site. I did get to feel useful by working "behind the scenes" a bit... i turned into Russell's "administrative assistant" by having to find him for people all the time.
Meeting Leighanne was cool too - she's so nice and funny. I hope I didnt act like to much of a spaz in front of her... since I did just meet her... LOL
This weekend is the Monster Mania convention in New Jersey... should be an interesting trip.
Well, I think i should go read something now...

"Warrener’s Corner will be an unfriendly place for the opposition on the ice this season but a welcome environment for Calgary children each game night at the Pengrowth Saddledome. The Calgary Flames announced today that Flames defenceman Rhett Warrener has committed to a suite in the Pengrowth Saddledome that he will use to host groups of children for each Flames home game. Rhett and a group of children from the Alberta Children’s Hospital will officially christen Warrener’s Corner this evening when the Flames play host to the Vancouver Canucks.
“Warrener’s Corner is something I started five seasons ago while I was playing in Florida,” said Warrener. “It was important for me to initiate a program that provides special children the opportunity to attend NHL games in a fun environment."
oooh how i love him... hehe
