o the wonderful excitement that was the weekend... riiiight. Anyway, I did have some 'drama', as my Mother broke my fish tank!!!! ahhhh It was such a freak accident - her chair broke! The dining room table was too close to the wall (and my tank) from us having to keep other random large articles in the dining room lately. So when she sat on, and fell off of the chair, it crashed against the glass tank. It was shaken, but looked ok. We were drying the floor from the spillage, but it just kept dripping. I assumed it was the filter (a la the wet apt floor) but when I put my hand in the back to check/fix it, I cut my finger (nothing too terrible). Then we could see the 2 cracks runing down the back side of the tank, dripping water. Lovely. So I took out some water, scooped my poor fishies out and then drained the rest, so it wasnt all over the floor (and into my room downstairs!) Sunday we got a new tank and all is well in fishie land once again. or something like that. Those poor fish have been moved soo many times in the past year... haha
Anyway - today was my 2nd placement. I am at Lockport HS, in an actual Biology classroom this time!! imagine that! And its cool, cuz I dont just see bio 5 times or something... he teaches AP Bio, Regents Bio & Anatomy/Physiology... so i get a bit of all that... Not too bad. He's a good teacher too, so thats always nice to work with. He seems very 'Mr. Rogers' to me... i dunno... lol Sitting there all day is kinda boring tho... I got off really easy for my other ones... 1/2 days counting as full ones last semester, and my other one this semester is 1/2 days too, so its not just sitting there for 7 hours... whatever... I really only have to go to this one 5 or 6 more times.... something like that... I have to figure out my hours....
Well, now its time for me to paint the bathroom... fun fun :O)
