hey there... ok, so i've been MIA for awhile... sorry... the only people i have seen lately are my family... and oh how lovely they thought I was hehe
Anyway - I am finally finished with this semester. Since I am a horrible person, I had to make up most of my papers from the whole semester... what a slacker i was. (ok, am, but right now I dont have anything to slack at, so I can say was hehe) But... my portfolio night went fairly well, and thanks to my laptop and the magic I downloaded from some teacher's site (a powerpoint doc made to look like "Who wants to be a millionaire") my 'presentation' was a hit of sorts... people were impressed with that 1 part anyway haha... but all is well, as it is finished!
So for the real 'news'... last night was Orgy Night :O) So so so great. I completely forgot how much I love them. I hadn't listened to their CDs in awhile, and I dont even have the new one (im quite broke haha) but oh...my...god... ahhhhh im still in a state of 'Orgy Bliss' :OD The highlight was definately when Amir saw Danielle's Ruff Cutt shirt and wanted a pic... so exciting for her! I only wish I had even thought to bring something for them to sign... instead I just stood there and held our place in line. Oh well... So, we were at barrier for the show, of course, and i was right in front of Paige this time. (the other 3 times, I was more on Amir's side lol) It was his birthday!! so that was pretty cool... a roadie brought out a cake with candles during the show and everyone sang... it was pretty cool, i thought. I dont remember Paige being so 'animated' during shows, but he was really working the crowd last night! He was great... as was everyone else... so amazing :O) The stage was set up weird tho... they were at eye level pretty much (cuz im short lol) and I thought i was going to get stepped on! lol (not really, but the illusion was there) since Jay was constantly putting his foot on the 'speaker thinger' in front of me LOL such huge feet! hehe OMG and the thing moved on him once, and he almost fell... so bad but ok, cuz he kinda laffed... crazy times... so great haha (can you tell i dont get out much LOL)
Basically, so wonderful... It had been way way too long since we saw them last... I ended up with 2 picks, woo hoo One that Paige tossed into my hand :O) and an Amir one that i found after the show, "on me" lol
Today I was scheduled to sub in 4th grade... I was scared enough, since I had to have the same kids all day, and actually teach them things, in a couple of subjects too... then I only had 2.5 hours of sleep... crazy, I say, but I managed just fine. The good thing, I guess, is that there is no time to sit and do nothing, so I had to be awake... and it worked alright :O) Thank god Im 'young' (even tho i feel old)...
So basically, things went pretty well today, and I get to go back for the same class tomorrow... woo hooo
Thats basically that. Maybe I'll post more regularly now, but i dunno, since I neve feel like I have anything to say... :O)
