this was a good week...
Calgary finished off San Jose and is in the Finals!! I think they are going to win, but thats just me :O) Philly pushed and got OT and won last night... so we still gotta wait to see who moves on... Lets Go Tampa Bay!! :O) But then who do I cheer for?!? Guess I'll just be happy either way!! lol
I finished my "teaching assistantship" finally. I went in Mon, Tues and Fri... fun fun It wasnt bad actually and I feel sooo much better now that I actually did what I was supposed to do!! The teacher was a bit old fashioned, but very good and a nice guy too. Plus, he said I will be a good teacher, so yaaaay :O) haha
The real fun of the week was seeing Orgy in concert again!! woo hoooo They are so great! Sara, Leighanne and I went all they way out to Detroit this time! I'll save myself from writing out all the details again... see sara's blog if ya want them... But it was a great show, as always. Plus, we had the extra excitement of a crime scene after the show! lovely :O) There was a shooting outside the club while we were inside!! Guess thats why Detroit has such a reputation! lol
Tomorrow morning I have to take my LAST... a stupid exam I had to pay $70 to take... such BS I hate that we have to pay sooo much to take a test - rediculous! plus, I still have two more to take! :OP damn state regulations...

so... the rest of the week went alright. The 4th graders were fine, most of the time. It was a fun experience, but definately not something I would want to do all the time! Then I was in middle school spanish for 2 days (my mom's friend, Nancy's class lol) I had a big hassel from this one girl the first day, and I almost wrote her up. Then I talked to the teacher and i was told there was a 'situation' with her and she would end up in more trouble than it was worth, so I didnt... but the teacher did talk to her before class, so she just ignored me the 2nd day haha Whatever... if i let an 8th grader get to me, Id be finished with teaching before I even started! LOL
After school on friday, mom and Nancy wanted flowers, so we went shopping. I got what I wanted... lol im so bad... Mom should not ask for my opinion, cuz I just end up getting what I want then... I just hope she wanted them too LOL
Anyway, we planted the flowers today, since it was crappy yesterday... so now the yard is all pretty again... lovely.
Oh, and yesterday I made a 'baby' quilt top real quick. I was bored and wanted to make something... it is pretty cute too. It will just be donated to Project Linus when its finished, so at least someone will use it (hopefully)
Congrats to Leigh Anne... she got the job! woo hooo :OD
And in other news... we are going to Detroit to see Orgy again on Wed!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY cant wait :O)
