Houston, TX - September 16, 2000

Sunna put on a great show [in my opinion]. It's hard knowing that everyone out there in the crowd is there to see somebody else and not you. But I was very impressed with their performance in Houston September 16.

Towards the end of A Perfect Circle's set, I think 3 more songs were played, I had to get out of the crowd. And when I walked out, I was excited to see Jon and Ian sitting at the T-shirt booth. So I went over and talked to them and got their autographs. They asked us to meet them out front about 15 minutes after the show was over. So of course me and my friends headed out there and waited for them. I was actually kinda surprised that they showed up.

Anyways-We hung out with them and took some pictures and all. Then they asked asked if they could get some pictures of us. [One of which is not suitable for the younger web surfers-viewer discretion is advised :) During the show, Jon had said that they would be back in Novemeber. A friend of mine mentioned that it would be cool to see them tour with [I think it was] Radiohead. But then one of the guys responded with 'How about the Smashing Pumpkins?' So we talked about that a little. It was a shock to hear that they would be opening for them because I was under the impression that they had pretty much come to a dead end, seeing as how D'Arcy left the band.

That was pretty much my experience with the band. I hugged Shane and off they all went. I thought that the guys were very nice and considerate. I really appreciate it when a band will take the time to chat with fans and are not so egotistical.
